Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 it received a raving review from bloggers and music critics as well as from the press. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to make music as a means of development of her own, not for the purpose of making a living or an interest. Thus, she began her own compositions. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. To counter her mother's suggestions that people ought not to aim to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather recognize the significance of their lives and their impact on society. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly so that people can see the importance of their work and how they impact the world. The family members didn't know about it until she turned 14. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. Her only passion is to write music. To her music, is the most effective way to express anything.
