Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from bloggers and music critics as well as the press. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sound it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to play music only for fun or to aid in growth but rather, she must take it seriously. They inspired her to write. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as influences as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. In response to her mother's suggestions that people shouldn't be trying to become famous with her songwriting, but instead realize the importance of themselves and their impact on society. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly to help people realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. She didn't tell her family about it until she turned fourteen. Aurora never dreamed of being famous. She claims that she enjoys writing songs. She believes that music is the best way to feel anything.
